Non-personal Identification Information
We collect non-personal identification information through the use of, without limitation to the following types of technology:

1.)        Cookie technology: A “cookie” is an element of data that a website sends to your browser for the purposes of storing and remembering it on your personal system.

2.)        IP address tracking: An IP address is a unique numerical identifier that is assigned to your computer when you are on the Internet. When you request pages from our Sites, our infrastructure automatically logs your IP address.

3.)        Web beacons: A Web beacon, or “clear gif,” is a small graphic image on a webpage or Web-based document that a website uses to determine the authenticity of a particular user.

Non-personal identification information might include your specific web browser application, type of computer system and other technical information about your means of connection to our Sites – including but not limited to protocols and connection ports, operating systems and the ISP (Internet service provider) utilized.  Our systems may also automatically gather information about the areas of our Site(s) you visit, search terms you use as well as links you may click from within our Sites to external areas of the Internet.

We may use such information for business purposes, particularly to understand how to better administer the Sites, manage advertising, and to obtain metrics to understand how our user community leverages the services and resources provided on our Sites. The end goal is to clearly determine which areas of our Sites are the “Favorites” of our user community, which areas require tweaking or improvement, and which technologies are being used most for the purpose of progressive elaboration and improvement of our offering.

Please note that these aforementioned metrics may be shared with our partners, suppliers and other third parties as aggregate, however individual individual names, personal navigational preferences or other private information will not be shared.  For example, third-party advertising companies may be utilized to serve ads when you visit our Sites; Demographic and preference information with this company may also be shared to allow them to display appropriate advertisements for you based on your own personal use of the system.
Be advised that we utilize a proprietary advertising server to display ads on our Sites. In addition, advertisers may elect to use third-party vendors to serve ads onto our Sites. Some advertisers may display ads on our Sites that leverage cookie technology or Web beacons to (i) identify non-personal information about our users (including as connection speed, browser and country of origin) and (ii) track user behavior within our Site(s). Advertisers generally use such information to customize the display of ads within our Sites. We will not permit such advertisers to collect any personal information from our users within our Sites, however, you may choose to voluntarily provide the advertisers with your personal information. Please note that you do so at your own risk, and you accept and acknowledge that we do not have access to these cookies or any information that they may contain.

Further, we currently contract with a third-party Web analytics provider to help manage and optimize our Site(s). We use this service to help measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns, and how visitors use our Site(s). Note that in order to do this, Web beacons and cookie technology are leveraged on the Site(s). The type of information collected includes the number of hits a webpage receives, the type of browser used, length of time a user stays on a particular page or series of pages within the Site(s) and the number of times a visitor makes a purchase from a particular promotion. By updating our records with this information, we are better able to learn things including knowing what pages are most attractive to our visitors, which of our products and services are of most interest our users, and what types of offers, events and promotions our user community likes to see. Although this third-party provider captures said information flowing into our infrastructure on our behalf, we control how that data may and may not be used.
